The YBS Breathe-R Insulation & Breather Membrane -1.2m x 25m is a high performance two-in-one solution for pitched roofs, combining a breathable roofing membrane with reflective foil insulation. Designed to improve thermal efficiency while maintaining ventilation, this innovative product reduces heat loss and helps keep your home energy efficient all year round.

At just 2mm thick, Breathe-R provides an effective thermal resistance of 0.450 m²K/W, equivalent to around 20mm of mineral fibre insulation. The outer layer is a durable, water-resistant breather membrane, while the internal facing layer is made from perforated insulation-grade aluminium foil, allowing moisture to pass freely to prevent condensation.

This lightweight and flexible reflective insulation is quick to install thanks to its built-in double-sided self-adhesive tape and unique overlapping method that eliminates the risk of thermal bridging. Manufactured in Britain using polyester wadding with 70 percent recycled content, it offers a practical, sustainable, and cost-effective alternative to standard breather membranes.
