Complete your cedar shingle roof with Western Red Cedar Shingles Ridge Tiles Blue Label No.1 Grade - 4.5m Pack, designed to provide a neat, natural and weather-resistant finish along the roof ridge. Manufactured from high-quality Western Red Cedar, these ridge tiles complement cedar roof shingles for a consistent appearance across the finished roof.
Each pack contains 36 ridge tiles, with every piece measuring 450mm (18") in length and approximately 10mm thick, tapering to 2mm. One pack provides approximately 4.5 linear metres of installed ridge coverage when laid at the recommended 125mm (5") exposure. The exposure refers to the section of each ridge tile that remains visible once the following ridge overlaps it during installation.
Manufactured in Blue Label No.1 Grade Western Red Cedar, the ridge tiles are made from 100% clear heartwood with no knots. This provides a high-quality, uniform appearance that's particularly well suited to roofs where the natural character and finish of the cedar are important.
Western Red Cedar offers excellent natural durability, with resistance to moisture and insect attack helping protect exposed roof areas. Its lightweight construction also makes the ridge tiles straightforward to handle and install, while providing considerably better natural thermal insulation than heavier materials such as concrete.
Ideal for completing cedar shingle roofs on sheds, summerhouses, log cabins, workshops, stables and other garden buildings, these ridge tiles provide the practical weather protection required at the roof apex while maintaining the attractive natural appearance of a cedar roofing system.
