Wallbarn Metal Edging Plates for Paving are designed to provide secure edge support where paving slabs meet walls, parapets and vertical upstands. Used in conjunction with pedestal support systems, these stainless steel edging plates help maintain clean lines, accurate spacing and structural stability across terraces, balconies and flat roof paving installations.

Manufactured by Wallbarn, the edging plate is loose laid onto the headpiece of compatible pedestals. Each plate is engineered to support two paving slabs simultaneously, allowing overhanging edges to remain stable while maintaining precise joint alignment.

Building guidelines recommend maintaining a 10mm drainage gap between paving and adjoining walls or parapets. The adjustable bullnose angle at one end of the edging plate allows installers to increase or decrease this spacing as required, ensuring proper drainage compliance while achieving a neat and visually consistent finish.

Constructed from stainless steel, the plate offers excellent strength, corrosion resistance and long term durability. It is capable of supporting the weight of paving slabs along with pedestrian traffic in areas where the slab overhangs the pedestal head.
