Wallbarn Mega Balance Self Levelling Heavy Duty Decking & Paving Pedestals are engineered for demanding raised flooring projects where strength, height range and precision adjustment are critical. With an exceptional adjustable height range from 25mm to 1025mm, this heavy duty pedestal support system is ideal for large rooftop terraces, podium decks, commercial balconies and high load raised decking installations.

Manufactured by Wallbarn, the Mega Balance range features an extended telescopic thread that provides substantial height adjustment within a single unit. The stem can be twisted easily to fine tune levels, even after slabs, tiles or decking joists have been installed, making on site corrections straightforward and efficient.

Designed as a suspended raised deck system, the weight of the paving slabs, porcelain tiles or decking structure acts as ballast, holding the pedestal supports securely in position without the need for mechanical fixings through the waterproof membrane. This makes the system particularly suitable for warm roof and inverted roof constructions where membrane integrity must be preserved.

The injection moulded polypropylene construction contains no fillers, ensuring long term durability, structural integrity and consistent performance. Laboratory tested between -40°C and +75°C, these heavy duty adjustable pedestals are built to withstand harsh UK weather conditions without becoming brittle or shattering in freezing temperatures. The polymer is non hazardous and fully recyclable.

Each Mega Balance pedestal is capable of tolerating loads exceeding 3 tonnes per unit, making it one of the most robust self levelling pedestal systems available for raised decking and paving applications.

The four in one headpiece design provides maximum flexibility. It supports and positions both paving slabs and decking joists within the same unit. The head is self levelling as standard, automatically compensating for minor substrate gradients, but can also be locked rigid using the integrated grey nut when a fixed head is required.

Height adjustments can be carried out on completed paving projects using the Wallbarn yellow key and silver key system, allowing installers to refine finished levels without lifting slabs or tiles.
