Wallbarn 5mm Rubber Crumb Acoustic Pad

Wallbarn 5mm Rubber Crumb Acoustic Pads are designed to sit beneath pedestal baseplates to reduce impact noise and protect vulnerable sub deck surfaces. These protective rubber pads provide both acoustic insulation and surface protection in raised decking and paving installations across flat roofs, balconies, terraces and podium decks.

Manufactured by Wallbarn, the 5mm thick rubber crumb pad is positioned between the sub deck and the pedestal baseplate. It helps minimise sound transmission from foot traffic and surface movement, reducing noise travelling into the structure below.

Measuring 200 x 200mm, the permeable pad is loose laid directly onto the deck surface. It distributes weight evenly, helping to reduce compression and point loading on waterproof membranes or insulation layers. This makes it particularly suitable for warm roof constructions and other roofing systems where membrane protection is critical.

By cushioning the contact point between the pedestal and the substrate, the acoustic pad also improves overall system stability while extending the lifespan of the underlying surface.
