The Brick Tile Company Brick Slip Cream Pointing Mortar - 25kg

The Brick Tile Company Cream Pointing Mortar is a cement-based blend designed to bring a soft, traditional finish to your brick slip installations. Supplied in a 25kg bag (labelled ‘Cream’), this warm-toned mortar pairs beautifully with buff, red and lighter brick blends, helping to create a cohesive and characterful appearance across internal and external settings.

Ideal for use with a mortar gun or grout bag, the mix offers smooth application and reliable consistency. When applied with full-size 22mm brick slips and 10mm mortar joints, one bag covers around 3.5m². If you're using thinner 14mm slips from the Contemporary Collection, coverage increases to approximately 4.5m². In traditional bond patterns, expect up to 3m² coverage for Flemish bond and around 2.5m² for English bond.

Mix with 3.5–4.5 litres of clean water to form a lump-free, workable paste. The mortar remains usable for around 45 minutes and sets in roughly 2.5 hours. A full cure takes up to 48 hours, during which the colour will soften slightly to its final tone. Store in a dry, frost-free place between 5°C and 30°C.
