The Samac Metal Snow Guard for Tiles & Slates 150mm x 2m provides a reliable barrier that helps prevent loose tiles or slates from sliding into the gutter during harsh weather. Designed to sit neatly along the roofline, it reduces the risk of displaced roof coverings causing damage below, giving added reassurance in high-wind and winter conditions.
Each 2m length can be fitted using 2–3 compatible brackets, depending on the roof layout. Galvanised half-round brackets are ideal when positioning the guard behind the gutter, ogee brackets are suited to installations in front of the gutter, and galvanised V-type brackets allow the guard to be secured directly to rafters. This flexible fixing approach makes it suitable for a wide range of tiled and slated pitched roofs.
Manufactured from durable metal, the guard provides long-lasting stability and an extra layer of protection for both gutters and surrounding areas where falling roof materials could otherwise cause issues.
