Powerlon VCL 170 Air & Vapour Control Layer is a mid-range reinforced vapour control layer (VCL) designed to restrict the movement of warm, moisture-laden air into insulation and the building structure. Installed on the warm side of the insulation, it helps reduce the risk of interstitial condensation within roof, wall and ceiling constructions.
Its impermeable construction provides an effective air and vapour barrier, helping improve the airtightness of the building envelope while controlling the passage of water vapour. With a water vapour resistance of 336 MNs/g, Powerlon VCL 170 provides a dependable solution for a wide range of general building applications.
An integrated reinforcement scrim provides additional strength and durability, making the membrane suitable for wall and ceiling applications while helping it withstand the demands of installation.
Supplied in a 2m x 50m roll, Powerlon VCL 170 provides a practical balance of performance, strength and value within the Powerlon VCL range.
