Powerlon UltraBlock 300 is a high-performance thermo-reflective air and vapour control layer (AVCL) designed for roof, wall and ceiling applications. Installed on the warm side of the insulation, it combines exceptional vapour resistance with a reflective surface that helps retain heat within the building.
The thermo-reflective surface helps reflect radiant heat back into the building, supporting improved energy efficiency when incorporated into an appropriately designed construction. Its impermeable construction also creates an effective air barrier, helping increase airtightness and restrict moisture-laden air from reaching the insulation.
With a water vapour resistance of greater than 25,000 MNs/g, UltraBlock 300 is particularly suited to high-humidity environments, including industrial kitchens and leisure centres, where robust vapour control is especially important. By limiting the passage of water vapour, the membrane helps protect insulation and reduce the risk of interstitial condensation within the building fabric.
An integrated reinforcement scrim provides additional strength for installation across walls and ceilings, making UltraBlock 300 a durable solution for demanding building envelope applications.
