Powerlon UltraBlock 200 is a thermo-reflective air and vapour control layer (AVCL) designed for use across a wide range of roof, wall and ceiling applications. Installed on the warm side of the insulation, it combines effective vapour control with a reflective surface designed to help retain heat within the building.
The thermo-reflective surface helps reflect radiant heat back into the building, supporting improved energy efficiency when incorporated into an appropriately designed construction. Its impermeable construction also provides an effective air barrier, helping improve the overall airtightness of the building envelope.
With a water vapour resistance of greater than 630 MNs/g, UltraBlock 200 restricts the movement of moisture-laden air into the insulation and building structure, helping protect insulation and reduce the risk of interstitial condensation.
An integrated reinforcement scrim provides additional strength and durability for wall and ceiling installations. Suitable for general building applications, UltraBlock 200 provides a practical solution where airtightness, vapour control and thermo-reflective performance are required from a single membrane.
Supplied in a 1.6m x 50m roll.
