Powerbond FR Aluminium VCL Tape is a flame-retardant aluminium sealing tape designed specifically for jointing and sealing thermo-reflective air and vapour control layers, including the Powerlon UltraBlock membrane range.
Used to seal membrane laps, joints and gaps, the tape helps maintain the continuity of the AVCL system and create effective air, vapour and watertight seals. This supports the membrane's role in improving building airtightness and controlling the movement of moisture through the building envelope.
Its reflective aluminium finish complements the thermo-reflective surface of UltraBlock membranes, helping maintain the performance and continuity of the reflective layer across sealed joints.
Powerbond FR Aluminium VCL Tape is Class 0 flame retardant and is supplied in a 50mm x 47.5m roll, making it a key installation accessory for compatible Powerlon thermo-reflective vapour control layers.
