The Novia FR Fire Rated Roof & Wall Breather Membrane is a high-performance solution designed for use behind insulated external façades, including high-rise wall applications as part of an SFS light steel frame or other insulated wall build-ups. It is also suitable for pitched roof installations, providing a breathable yet waterproof covering with exceptional fire performance.
Certified with a Class B-s1,d0 fire rating when fitted to A1 or A2 materials (Class D-s2,d0 when applied directly to timber), Novia FR meets current Building Regulations for fire safety in high-rise construction. It is dual CE approved to EN 13859-1 for pitched roofing and EN 13859-2 for walls, making it a versatile choice for both residential and commercial projects.
This membrane combines W1 water penetration resistance, high vapour permeability, and airtightness (when correctly taped and sealed) in a lightweight, easy-to-handle design. Its black front face and white reverse feature a clear overlap guideline for precise installation, with no printed text or images for a clean finish.
