Novia 1200 Gauge Polythene Air & Vapour Control Layer - 4m x 25m

The Novia 1200 Gauge Polythene Air & Vapour Control Layer (AVCL) is a high-quality, virgin-grade blown polythene membrane designed to minimise air leakage, reduce interstitial condensation, and improve thermal performance in buildings. Supplied in a 4m x 25m roll, this durable single-ply barrier is suitable for use in SFS light steel frame, timber frame, and concrete frame wall constructions, as well as in insulated pitched or flat roofs and floor systems.

Its translucent green-tinted finish allows for easy installation alignment, making it ideal for residential and commercial applications. The Novia 1200 AVCL is CE marked and compliant with BS EN 13984, helping buildings meet BS 5250 requirements for moisture management.

For professional installation, it should be fully sealed to the structure using the Novia two-tape sealing system—Novia Double Sided Butyl Tape and either Novia Metallised BOPP Overlap Tape or Novia Foil Overlap Tape. Novia AirSeal 310 FR cartridge sealant should be used when sealing to concrete surfaces for optimum airtightness.
