The Manthorpe Redshield Rebated Cavity Barrier – Pack of 3 is a high-performance solution for combining fire integrity, insulation, thermal bridging control and DPC protection in a single product. Specially designed for rebated reveal details, it ensures compliance with Building Regulation Approved Document B, offering 30 minutes of fire integrity and 15 minutes of insulation without needing additional materials.
Its adaptable design allows for installation in varying cavity widths, making it ideal for projects where cavity sizes are inconsistent. The integrated mineral fibre core improves energy efficiency by helping to prevent cold bridging, while still maintaining the required fire-resistant barrier performance.
Tested to BS EN 1366-4:2006+A1:2010 by Warringtonfire, this rebated version of Redshield is well suited for new builds and refurbishments alike. With no specialist fixings required, it’s easy to install and built to last the full life of the building.
