Manthorpe Intermediate Cavity Tray

The Manthorpe Intermediate Cavity Tray is a key component in stepped cavity tray systems, designed to direct moisture away from abutment walls while helping to maintain a continuous and effective drainage path. Available in left or right hand variants, each tray features a single upstand that ensures water flows in the correct direction through the system while preventing wind-driven rain from penetrating the outer leaf.

The tray includes a removable front mortar clip, creating a neat 25mm channel once the mortar has cured, allowing for simple and secure lead flashing installation using lead wedges. An integrated injection-moulded mortar trap reduces the risk of debris or mortar droppings blocking the drainage path, helping to ensure consistent water flow through the cavity.

Manufactured from rigid black polypropylene, the tray holds its shape during installation and fits neatly within the wall cavity, forming part of a durable, long-term moisture management system.
