The FAKRO FYP-V P5 Natural Pine Triple Glazed proSky High Pivot Roof Window is a high-performance roof window designed to maximise daylight, views and thermal efficiency in pitched roof spaces. Using FAKRO’s proSky high pivot design, the sash is hinged higher than standard pivot windows, allowing it to open outward and create a wide, unobstructed opening. This makes it an excellent choice for loft conversions and attic rooms where increased headroom, better outward visibility and improved airflow are a priority.

Constructed from FSC-certified natural pine, the frame is finished internally with two layers of clear lacquer to protect the timber while maintaining its warm, natural appearance. The upgraded P5 triple glazed unit delivers excellent insulation and enhanced security, helping reduce heat loss and lower energy costs over time. This high-performance glazing also improves comfort in exposed roof locations by maintaining more consistent indoor temperatures and reducing external noise, making it ideal for habitable loft spaces used year round.

Ventilation is managed through the semi-automatic V40P air inlet, which provides steady background airflow while minimising the effects of wind gusting. Structural strength and security are reinforced by FAKRO’s topSafe system, incorporating strengthened hinges, secure locking points and a steel slat in the lower sash to achieve at least Class III resistance under EN13049 standards. Externally, the aluminium cladding in a modern RAL7022 finish offers durable protection against the elements. This window is suitable for roof pitches between 20 and 65 degrees, providing flexibility across a wide range of pitched roof designs.

The FYP-V P5 is supported by strong manufacturer warranties, including 10 years on the window, 20 years on the glazing unit and a lifetime warranty against hail damage, giving long-term reassurance for your project.
