Their coarse-thread design delivers improved pull-out strength compared to fine-thread alternatives, making them ideal for plasterboard applications where a strong grip is essential.
With fewer threads per inch, these screws drive in quicker, helping save time on-site. In some cases, black phosphate coatings may react with certain renders, which can lead to staining or surface corrosion. To prevent this, it's advised to seal the screw heads with a PVA bonding solution before rendering.
