Constructed from a polymer rubber compound reinforced with an aluminium stretch mesh, Fast Flash offers excellent flexibility and conforms easily to roof profiles, contours, and detailing. This makes it well suited to tiled, slated, metal, and bitumen roofs where a clean, close fit is essential for long term weather protection. The integrated self-adhesive backing uses a high bond butyl layer, allowing the flashing to be installed quickly while still offering time for adjustment during positioning.
Approved for use on roofs with pitches from as low as 5 degrees, this black flashing roll provides a discreet finish that works particularly well on darker roof coverings and modern extensions. Lightweight and easy to cut to size, it can be fitted without specialist tools, making it suitable for both professional roofers and competent DIY installers.
As an environmentally friendly alternative to lead flashing, Fast Flash is suitable for new build and refurbishment projects alike. Where painting is required, or where water runoff from copper or bitumen surfaces may pass over the flashing, a 100 percent acrylic low sheen exterior paint should be used.
