The DEKS Fast Flash Self-Adhesive Lead Alternative 5m in Anthracite Grey is a modern, easy-to-install flashing solution designed to replace traditional lead across a wide range of roofing applications. Lightweight yet durable, this lead free flashing roll delivers a fast, reliable seal around chimneys, rooflights, solar panels, wall abutments, dormers, and chimney stacks where roofs meet vertical surfaces.
Manufactured using an aluminium stretch mesh cast into a polymer rubber compound, Fast Flash is highly flexible and moulds neatly to roof profiles while maintaining long-term resistance to weathering and UV exposure. The self-adhesive reverse features a high bond butyl layer, allowing for quick installation without specialist tools, while still providing valuable working time to reposition during fitting.
Suitable for use on roofs with a minimum pitch of 5 degrees, this anthracite grey flashing is compatible with most common roof coverings including tiles, slates, metal roofing, and bitumen surfaces. Its darker grey finish complements contemporary roof designs and blends neatly with modern building materials.
Fast Flash is an environmentally friendly alternative to lead flashing, easy to trim on site, and ideal for both new build and refurbishment projects. Where painting is required, or where water may travel from copper or bitumen surfaces onto the flashing, a 100 percent acrylic low sheen exterior paint is recommended.
