The Corotherm Brown Glazing Bar Cap & Base with End Cap is a vital part of the Corotherm roofing system, designed to provide a reliable, watertight connection between two polycarbonate sheets. Ideal for rafter-supported glazing setups, this bar system combines strength, ease of installation and a discreet brown finish that blends seamlessly with timber or darker-framed roofing structures.
This two-part bar features a T-shaped base that fixes directly to the rafters, and a snap-fit cap that locks the polycarbonate sheets securely in place. A 3mm expansion gap should be left between the sheets to allow for natural movement. Once the sheets are positioned, the cap simply pushes down to form a durable, weatherproof seal between the panels.
Each unit comes with a brown end cap, designed to finish off the exposed edge of the glazing bar. The opposite end is typically installed against a wall or supporting structure, so an additional cap is not required.
This glazing bar is compatible with 10mm, 16mm and 25mm Corotherm multiwall polycarbonate sheets, making it a flexible choice for various canopies, verandas, carports, greenhouses and lean-to roofs. Please note: it is designed to join sheets side to side, not end to end.
With a built-in rubber gasket, the system ensures a snug fit and long-lasting resistance to the elements. Available in a choice of lengths and colours, this bar provides a quick, clean, and secure way to finish your polycarbonate roofing project.
