The Castle A1 Fire Rated Adjustable Slope Correcting Pedestal 40mm to 50mm is a high performance support designed for raised paving and decking systems where fire safety is essential. Manufactured entirely from aluminium, it provides a fully non combustible solution for projects that require compliance with strict building regulations.
This pedestal achieves an A1 Euroclass fire rating in line with BS EN 13501 1, as it contains no plastic or combustible materials. It is particularly suited to high rise developments, rooftop terraces, balconies, and commercial environments where fire rated components are required throughout the build-up.
With an adjustable height range of 40mm to 50mm, this model is ideal for lower level installations while still delivering excellent strength and stability. The integrated self levelling head compensates for slopes up to 6 percent, allowing for accurate installation on uneven substrates while maintaining effective drainage.
A built in spacer system creates a consistent 3mm joint gap between paving slabs, helping achieve a neat and uniform finish. For decking applications, aluminium joists can be securely positioned between the lugs, offering flexibility across different installation types.
Supplied part assembled, the pedestal reduces installation time on site, requiring only final adjustment and head positioning. Its aluminium construction ensures long term durability, with strong resistance to impact, cracking, and chemical exposure.
