The Brewer Round Strap Fix Gas Birdguard Chimney Cowl is designed to protect your chimney from birds, squirrels, pests, leaves and debris while allowing efficient ventilation for gas and oil appliances. Manufactured from durable stainless steel or aluminium, it is available in a choice of finishes including Black, Buff, Terracotta or Natural to suit a range of property styles.

This gas birdguard features a fine wire mesh that meets BS5871:2005 standards for gas installations, helping to prevent birds from becoming trapped behind gas fire back panels while reducing rain entry into the flue. The integral raincap provides extra weather protection, helping to prevent water damage and internal structural decay.

Fitting is quick and secure using the supplied stainless steel strap system. The Brewer Round Gas Birdguard Chimney Cowl is suitable for round chimney pots with an internal diameter between 150mm and 250mm (6 to 10 inches) and can be installed on both live and unused chimneys.
