The DEKS EPDM Flat Roof Drain Outlet is designed to connect EPDM waterproof roofing membranes to rainwater drainage systems on flat roofs. It provides a reliable way to channel rainwater from the roof surface into drainage pipes while maintaining a secure waterproof connection with the roofing system.
The outlet features a slightly conical spigot shape which allows for fast and straightforward installation into rainwater drain pipes. This design helps create a secure fit within the drainage system while supporting efficient water discharge from the roof.
A smooth flange is incorporated to improve bonding with adhesives used for EPDM roofing membranes. This allows the membrane to adhere securely to the outlet, helping form a durable and watertight seal during installation.
Two rings are positioned on the shank of the outlet which act as a drain trap between the connector and the rainwater pipe. This design helps improve connection stability and reduces the risk of water leakage at the joint.
Designed for flat roof drainage installations, the outlet includes an extended 400mm spigot, providing a deeper connection compared to shorter standard outlets and allowing it to pass through thicker roof constructions where required.
