Novia VC2 Air & Vapour Control Layer - 1.5m x 50m

The Novia VC2 Air & Vapour Control Layer (AVCL) is a high-performance, flame resistant, reinforced vapour check membrane designed to provide exceptional airtightness and moisture control in building projects. With built-in flame resistant additives, the VC2 will not readily ignite or continue burning in small fires, offering enhanced safety for modern construction.

Suitable for use as both an air leakage barrier and AVCL, this membrane is ideal for insulated walls, pitched or flat roofs, and floor applications. It pairs perfectly with Novia Breather Membranes in insulated frame builds, helping to minimise interstitial condensation and maintain thermal performance.

For a professional airtight seal, installation should be completed using the Novia two-tape sealing system—30mm Double Sided Butyl Tape and 60mm Metallised BOPP Overlap Tape or Novia Foil Overlap Tape. The translucent finish allows studwork and battens to remain visible for easier positioning during installation.
