The Novia VariCheck Fire Rated Air & Vapour Control Layer DIY Kit provides a fire-rated, variable vapour resistance solution for achieving airtight and energy-efficient wall, roof, and floor constructions. Its advanced design allows vapour permeability to adapt seasonally — offering lower permeability in colder months to retain heat and higher permeability in warmer months to allow controlled moisture movement.

Ideal for both standard and high-rise applications, the VariCheck FR membrane combines a B-s1, d0 fire rating with full airtightness for improved thermal performance and reduced energy loss.

This complete kit includes Novia Double-Sided Butyl Tape, Novia Aluminium Foil Lap Tape, and Novia AirSeal310 FR Sealant to ensure a secure, professional-grade seal in every installation. Suitable for use alongside Novia Breather Membranes in insulated frame applications, it meets BS EN 13984 and BS 5250 requirements.
