Novia VariCheck Fire Rated Air & Vapour Control Layer - 1.5m x 50m

The Novia VariCheck Fire Rated Air & Vapour Control Layer is a high-performance, Class B-s1, d0 flame resistant membrane designed to provide both airtightness and adaptable vapour control. Engineered for use in insulated wall, roof, and floor applications, this advanced AVCL adjusts its vapour permeability seasonally — less permeable in colder months to retain heat, and more permeable in warmer months to allow moisture to escape.

Ideal for both standard and high-rise projects, VariCheck FR offers a cost-effective solution that supports compliance with BS 5250 and current Building Regulations. It is suitable for projects requiring enhanced fire safety while maintaining a controlled internal environment.

For a fully sealed installation, Novia recommends using 30mm Double Sided Butyl Tape and 96mm BS 476 Cold Weather Aluminium Foil Lap Tape.
