Novia STRP Reinforced Air & Vapour Control Layer - 2m x 50m

The Novia STRP Reinforced Air & Vapour Control Layer (AVCL) is a high-specification, tough, and tear-resistant membrane designed for use in insulated wall, roof, and floor applications. Manufactured from a reinforced and laminated multilayer polythene, it provides excellent vapour control and airtightness while offering enhanced durability for demanding projects.

A flame-resistant additive ensures the membrane will not readily ignite or continue to burn in small fires, achieving a Class E rating under EN 13501-1. This makes it particularly suited to industrial, educational, and commercial buildings, as well as insulated SFS metal stud or timber frame constructions.

For optimum airtight performance, Novia STRP should be installed using the Novia two-tape sealing system—Novia Double Sided Butyl Tape and either Novia Metallised BOPP Overlap Tape or Novia Foil Overlap Tape. Its translucent finish makes it easy to align with internal frameworks during installation, and it is fully CE approved and compliant with BS EN 13984.
