Novia STRP ProMax Reinforced Air & Vapour Control Layer - 1.6m x 50m

The Novia STRP ProMax Reinforced Air & Vapour Control Layer (AVCL) is a premium-grade membrane designed for demanding applications where there is a high risk of interstitial condensation. Made from a tough, tear-resistant reinforced multilayer polythene laminate with an aluminium foil core, it offers outstanding moisture vapour resistance and long-term durability.

This high-spec AVCL is ideal for insulated wall, roof, and floor applications in industrial, commercial, and metal profile clad buildings. It is also suitable for all insulated construction types, including internal installation in flat roofs. By reducing air leakage and improving thermal performance, the STRP ProMax helps buildings meet BS 5250 requirements for condensation control.

For professional installation, Novia recommends the two-tape sealing system, 30mm wide Novia Double Sided Butyl Tape and 60mm Metallised BOPP Overlap Tape or Novia Foil Overlap Tape, for a complete airtight seal. Supplied as a 1.6m x 50m single-wound roll, it is UKCA approved to BS EN 13984.
