The FAKRO FYU-V P2 White PU Double Glazed proSky High Pivot Roof Window is designed for pitched roof spaces where moisture resistance, durability and a wide opening are essential. Using the proSky high pivot design, the hinge is positioned higher in the frame, allowing the sash to open outward and create a larger, clearer opening than standard pivot windows. This makes it ideal for loft conversions and attic rooms where improved headroom, better views and enhanced ventilation are a priority.

The internal frame is manufactured from FSC-certified timber and sealed with a primer before being finished with two layers of tough white PU (polyurethane) coating. This creates a smooth, sealed surface that resists moisture, condensation and everyday wear, making it particularly well suited to bathrooms, kitchens, utility rooms and modern loft spaces where humidity levels can be higher. The P2 double glazed unit provides reliable thermal performance and added safety, while also helping reduce external noise for a more comfortable indoor environment.

Background ventilation is delivered via the semi-automatic V40P air inlet, designed to regulate airflow while reducing the effects of wind gusting. Security and strength are enhanced through FAKRO’s topSafe system, which reinforces hinges, locking points and the lower sash to achieve at least Class III resistance under EN13049 standards. Externally, the aluminium cladding in RAL7022 provides durable weather protection and a clean, modern appearance. This model is suitable for roof pitches between 20 and 65 degrees, offering flexibility across a wide range of pitched roof designs.

The FYU-V P2 is backed by strong manufacturer warranties, including 10 years on the window, 20 years on the glazing unit and a lifetime warranty against hail damage, providing long-term peace of mind.
