Manthorpe Apex Cavity Tray

The Manthorpe Apex Cavity Tray (GW290) is the final tray in the cavity tray system, designed to manage moisture at the top of the abutment junction. Its open-ended design allows water to flow away evenly on both sides of the structure, helping to protect internal walls from damp penetration.

A key feature of this tray is the removable mortar clip, which creates a clean 25mm channel once the mortar has set. This allows for fast and secure insertion of lead using traditional lead wedges. The tray can be supplied unleaded or with pre-attached flashing, including code 4 lead, code 5 lead (special order), or a suitable lead replacement.

Made from durable black polypropylene, the preformed tray fits rigidly within the cavity for long-lasting performance and easy alignment with adjoining components. At 731mm in length, it provides wide coverage across various wall configurations, supporting effective moisture management in cavity wall construction.
