The FAKRO ELJ Recessed Flashing Kit for Slate up to 10mm is designed for a lower-profile roof window installation on non-interlocking natural or man-made slate roofs. This recessed flashing system allows the roof window to sit 30mm lower within the roof structure, improving integration with the slate covering while enhancing protection against wind-driven rain and weather exposure.
Developed for pitched roofs with angles between 20 and 90 degrees, the ELJ flashing kit is suitable for non-interlocking slates with a maximum thickness of 10mm. By positioning the window lower in the roof, recessed flashings help create a neater finish and improved thermal performance around the frame. Finished in durable RAL 7022, the flashing blends cleanly with slate roofs and provides long-lasting resistance to the elements.
This recessed flashing kit is ideal for projects where a more streamlined roof window appearance is required, while still maintaining effective drainage and a reliable watertight seal.
