Britannia Paints Aquashield Eco Solvent-Free Waterproof Roof Coating

Britannia Paints Aquashield Eco is a solvent-free waterproof roof coating for general roof maintenance. Its water-based acrylic formula forms a smooth, flexible, water-resistant finish, with one coat recommended on suitably prepared surfaces.

Suitable for flat roofs, pitched roofs and gutters, Aquashield Eco can be used on felt, weathered asphalt, bituminous surfaces, concrete, brickwork, GRP, fibreglass and correctly prepared metal. The low-odour formula offers a practical option for maintaining existing roof coverings without using a solvent-based coating.

Choose Grey, Black or Solar Reflective White in 1kg, 2.5kg, 5kg and 20kg containers.

Application guidance: Clean the surface, remove contamination and allow it to dry. Stir well before use. Apply in dry conditions above 10°C, avoiding imminent rain or frost. Allow approximately 1–2kg per m², depending on the surface. Resistant to light showers after approximately 40 minutes on dry surfaces, and dry in approximately 3 hours at 10°C. Heavy coats take longer to dry.

Suitability: Porous or friable surfaces and metals require appropriate preparation and priming. Not suitable for timber, PVC, Plastisol, new cementitious screeds, regularly trafficked walkways or balconies, or internal tanking. Repair surface faults before coating; moving areas may require reinforcement.
