The Dektite Fixing Kit for Pipe Flashings is specifically designed for use with DEKS EPDM and silicone pipe flashings on metal roofs, providing everything required for a secure, long-lasting installation. These kits ensure correct fixing, reliable sealing, and a professional finish when installing Dektite roof pipe flashings.
The FX901 fixing kit includes one 75ml tube of low modulus silicone, 25 self drilling screws, 25 silver colour caps, and a fixing instruction leaflet. This kit is ideal for smaller flashing sizes and straightforward installations.
For larger flashings or multiple installations, the FX902 fixing kit contains three 75ml tubes of low modulus silicone, 75 self drilling screws, 75 silver colour caps, and a fixing instruction leaflet. The rear page of the instruction leaflet includes a helpful table showing which fixing kit is required for each flashing size, making selection simple and accurate.
Self tapping screws should be installed at intervals of 25 to 50mm, positioned centrally through the surrounding metal base of the flashing to ensure even compression and a watertight seal. The screws require an 11/32 inch socket for installation.
