The Libra Systems RB30 Resilient Bar is an essential solution for improving sound insulation in plasterboard walls and ceilings, making it ideal for both new builds and renovation projects. Engineered to reduce noise transmission, it works by isolating plasterboard from the supporting structure, minimising direct contact and effectively dispersing sound energy through its metal section. This significantly enhances acoustic performance, making it a perfect choice for homes, offices, and any noise-sensitive environments.
For installation, the resilient bar should be mounted at a 90-degree angle to the stud work or ceiling joists. Secure it in place using the narrow flange at the bottom and the fixing flange at the topβexcept for the topmost bar, which requires flipping the fixing flange to the bottom for optimal stability.
