Fernco In-Line Backwater Valve

The Fernco In-Line Backwater Valve is designed to help prevent sewage and surface water from flowing back into your property through the drainage system. Installed directly into the pipe run, it forms a physical barrier between your home and the public sewer, giving reliable protection during periods of heavy rainfall or flooding.

The valve operates automatically, allowing wastewater to flow normally while closing if backflow pressure occurs. This means no manual intervention is required once the valve is fitted. A removable lid allows for simple inspection when needed, while its robust construction ensures long-term performance with minimal maintenance.

Suitable for both new drainage installations and retrofit applications, the valve can be connected to a wide range of pipe materials using a Fernco shear banded coupling or Icon coupling. Available in multiple sizes to suit common pipe diameters, with options for single or double flap models depending on your site requirements.
