The FAKRO DXW Non-Opening Walk-On Triple Glazed Flat Roof Window is a heavy-duty, fixed flat roof rooflight designed specifically for walkable roof areas, including terraces, roof gardens, balconies, and access walkways. Engineered to combine strength, safety, and thermal efficiency, this walk-on rooflight delivers natural daylight without compromising structural integrity.
This walk-on flat roof window is fitted with a DW6 triple glazed unit, carefully designed for load-bearing applications. The external pane features laminated, toughened, anti-slip glass, providing a safe walking surface across the entire rooflight. Internally, a safe laminated glass pane enhances security and occupant protection, making the unit suitable for both residential and commercial environments.
Supplied complete with a 150mm insulated UPVC kerb upstand, the DXW walk-on rooflight ensures a reliable waterproofing termination height while helping to reduce heat loss and cold bridging at roof level. The reinforced, multi-chamber PVC profile further increases strength and long-term durability, supporting frequent foot traffic with confidence.
With a whole window U-value of 0.7 W/m²K and a glass U-value of 0.67 W/m²K, this triple glazed walk-on flat roof window offers excellent thermal performance, helping to meet modern Building Regulations and reduce heat loss through walkable roof areas.
Internally, the UPVC upstand is finished in RAL 9010 white, providing a clean and modern internal appearance. Externally, the profiles are finished in RAL 9005 black, with a subtle darkened glazing edge that creates a sleek, contemporary finish when viewed from above.
