Constructed with double skin polycarbonate glazing, the dome is exceptionally lightweight yet up to 200 times stronger than glass, providing excellent impact resistance and long-term reliability. The rooflight is supplied with a robust PVC kerb that delivers a 150mm waterproofing termination height, helping ensure effective weather protection and compliance with flat roof detailing best practice.
Designed for installation onto builders’ upstands, this rooflight is suitable for roof pitches from 0 to 15 degrees. It is available in both non-opening and manual opening options, allowing ventilation where required. Secure fixings with tamper-proof caps help deter interference once installed, while the double glazed polycarbonate construction achieves a U-value of 2.7 W/m²K, supporting improved thermal performance.
Installation is straightforward, and to avoid confusion when specifying, the rooflight size refers to the finished roof opening size. BBA approved and supplied with a 10 year product warranty, this dome rooflight offers dependable performance and peace of mind for a wide range of applications including kitchens, bathrooms, utility rooms, hallways, landings, stairwells and corridors.
