The ClassicBond EPDM Water Based Deck Adhesive is a solvent-free, acrylic-based adhesive designed for bonding EPDM membranes to timber roof decks such as plywood or OSB3. Perfect for new flat roof builds or refurbishments, this non-flammable, low-odour adhesive is roller-applied in a single-sided wet lay application, making it ideal for DIY and professional installers alike.

This water based adhesive delivers excellent bond strength without the use of harsh chemicals, offering a safer and more user-friendly alternative to solvent-based glues. It’s suitable for most porous decking materials and provides clean, reliable adhesion when used with ClassicBond EPDM membranes.

Coverage rates vary by size and surface condition:

2.5 Litres – covers approx. 7 to 10m²
5.0 Litres – covers approx. 15 to 20m²
10 Litres – covers approx. 35 to 40m²
15 Litres – covers approx. 50 to 60m²

For best results, boards should be moisture-resistant but not sealed with wax or non-absorbent coatings. If unsure, test a small area before full application. On non-porous surfaces such as metal or existing GRP, use ClassicBond Contact Adhesive instead.
