ClassicBond EPDM Mechanical Bonding Russ Tape - Per Metre

The ClassicBond EPDM Mechanical Bonding RUSS Tape – Per Metre is designed to provide additional securement for EPDM membranes in areas prone to movement, such as wall upstands, roof perimeters, and penetrations. It helps prevent membrane shrinkage over time by mechanically anchoring the base where the membrane turns up at an angle.

This Reinforced Universal Secure Strip features pre-applied bonding tape along one edge, allowing it to be bonded to the underside of the EPDM membrane using ClassicBond Rubber Primer. This eliminates the need to puncture the membrane during installation, helping to maintain a watertight seal.

Each metre of RUSS tape includes 2" seam fastening plates, with enough fasteners supplied to fix the tape at 300mm intervals (around 3–4 per metre). For a reliable hold, always use with appropriate fixings for your roof deck substrate. Ideal for perimeter securement, upstand transitions, around pipe penetrations and roof details.
