The ClassicBond EPDM 3" Splice Tape is designed to securely join two pieces of EPDM membrane where a single sheet installation isn’t possible, such as L-shaped or large flat roofs. Sold by the metre, it provides a flexible, watertight seal that ensures long-lasting performance.
To install, overlap the membranes by 75mm, apply ClassicBond primer to both surfaces, and once touch dry, apply the splice tape. Use a seam roller to apply pressure and smooth the joint for a secure, professional finish.
This tape can also be used to join EPDM membranes to TPO or PVC roofing systems, making it a cost-effective solution for repairs or hybrid roof installations. For bonding to granular surfaces like felt or asphalt, use with a termination bar and water block mastic for best results.
