The Manthorpe Roll Out Dry Hip System – 6m is a complete, mechanically fixed roofing kit designed to secure hip tiles without the need for traditional mortar. This dry fix method offers a fast, clean, and low-maintenance alternative that protects against wind uplift and driven rain, ensuring a durable and weatherproof finish.

The installation process begins by laying the ventilated roll along the hip and smoothing it to match the tile profile. Hip support trays are then fixed in place to create a straight and level base for the hip tiles. Starting at the eaves, each tile is connected using Manthorpe hip unions and locked into position with mechanical fixings, working upwards to the ridge for a secure, professional result.

Compatible with concrete and clay half-round or angled hip tiles, this system can be installed on most slate, flat concrete, and profiled roof tiles. The 6 metre kit includes all necessary components (excluding hip tiles) and additional hip support trays can be purchased separately for longer runs.

Independently tested and fully compliant with BS 8612 dry fix roofing standards, the system is suitable for both new build and refurbishment projects.
