The Manthorpe GDV SmartVerge PVCu Rebated Eaves Closer is a purpose-designed starter unit for the SmartVerge Dry Verge System, offering a clean and secure foundation at the base of the roof verge. These closers not only support the first verge unit but also help prevent birds and large insects from entering the roofline at eaves level.

The rebated design makes this version ideal for roofs where extended guttering may interfere with standard verge fittings, providing adequate clearance without compromising stability. Fix the eaves closer securely to the structure at the eaves, then clip the first dry verge unit over it to begin the full verge run.

Each unit is ambidextrous, allowing use on either side of the roof, and is manufactured from tough, weather-resistant PVCu for long-term performance. Suitable for all-weather installation and compliant with BS 8612, this component ensures both function and finish are achieved.
