The Manthorpe GDV SmartVerge PVCu Eaves Closer is designed as the essential starting point for the SmartVerge Dry Verge System. These units provide a solid and secure base for the first verge unit, while also protecting the roofline by preventing access for birds and large insects.

Each eaves closer is fixed directly onto the structure at the eaves, creating a firm foundation for the remainder of the dry verge system. The first verge unit then clips over it, locking securely into place. The design is ambidextrous, meaning it can be used on both the left and right sides of the roof, making installation straightforward and efficient.

Manufactured from robust PVCu, these closers are durable, weather-resistant, and suitable for year-round fitting. A rebated version is also available to clear any gutter overhang where required.
