Novia Methane Pro High Performance Gas Barrier Membrane - 1.6m x 50m

The Novia Methane Pro High Performance Gas Barrier Membrane is a premium multi-layer laminate DPM with a reinforced structure and aluminium foil core for exceptional gas resistance. Approved for methane gas protection and fully compliant with BS 8485, it also meets the requirements for radon gas applications and serves as a high-performance damp proof membrane.

With a 390gsm weight and ≥0.4mm thickness, this membrane provides extremely low vapour and gas permeability, making it suitable for use in conjunction with NHBC standards and BRE report BR 211-2015 radon protection guidelines. It is UKCA marked and CPR compliant, ensuring consistent quality and performance.

For installation, all joints and perimeter edges must be sealed using the Novia two-tape system (50mm double-sided butyl tape and 96mm aluminium foil tape) or welded for a fully compliant gas-tight seal. The membrane is easy to install as a loose-laid sheet and features a blue colour for quick visual verification of correct placement.
