The Novia 1600 Gauge Polythene Radon Gas Barrier Membrane is a high-quality virgin grade polythene solution designed to protect buildings against radon gas ingress while also acting as an effective damp proof membrane (DPM). With a 400-micron (0.4mm) thickness and 1600 gauge rating, this robust barrier meets the performance requirements of BR 211 and BS 8485 UK regulations for radon protection.
Suitable for both taped and welded installations, the membrane is CE approved and manufactured to EN 13967 for use as a DPM. Novia recommends using Novia Double Sided Butyl Tape and Novia Aluminium Foil Tape to achieve a secure, continuous gas seal for the lifespan of the installation.
This product contains no recycled content, ensuring consistent quality and long-term reliability in ground gas protection applications.
