Rooftec BBA Approved Breathable Membrane 120gsm is a tougher, higher-performance option for projects that demand extra strength and durability. The increased weight provides improved tear resistance and enhanced stability during installation, making it ideal for exposed sites or builds where the membrane needs to cope with heavier handling and more challenging weather conditions.

The 120gsm construction still delivers excellent breathability, allowing moisture vapour to escape while keeping the roof structure airtight. This helps protect against condensation and supports long-term roof performance across a range of pitched roof applications.

Well suited to both warm and cold roofs, this membrane performs reliably beneath tiles and slates and is compatible with Scottish sarking boards, timber-frame systems and metal-frame structures. Its additional robustness makes it a great choice for contractors working on roofs that require stronger underlay protection or where site winds may place extra stress on the installation.
