Novia Ultraviolet Lap Tape - 75mm x 25m

The Novia Ultraviolet Lap Tape is a high-strength sealing and bonding tape designed for use with UV-resistant breather membranes, including Novia UV Facade FR. Manufactured with a durable elastic LDPE-film carrier, reinforced with scrim, and coated with a strong acrylic dispersion adhesive, it delivers exceptional performance in demanding construction environments.

This tape is ideal for sealing overlaps and joints in open façade applications, offering 24 months of UV stability in rainscreen systems with joint widths up to 30mm and less than 40% total membrane exposure. It is also suitable for standard roof applications where enhanced UV protection is required.

Novia UVLT is required for certain breather membranes to meet BS 5534 wind uplift compliance and is recommended for use alongside Novia Double Sided Lap Tape (DSLT) as part of a two-tape system for a high-specification, airtight finish.
