Novia Breather Membrane Lap Tape

The Novia Breather Membrane Lap Tape is a high-strength sealing and bonding tape designed to provide a secure and durable seal on overlaps and joints in both roof and wall breather membrane installations. Featuring a non-woven polypropylene carrier with a strong acrylic dispersion adhesive, it delivers reliable adhesion and long-lasting performance.

Ideal for use with Novia breather membranes, this tape is recommended as part of a two-tape sealing system alongside Novia Double Sided Lap Tape (DSLT) to achieve a high-specification finish. Using BMLT and DSLT together helps reduce air leakage, improves airtightness, and offers additional protection against external environmental conditions.

Novia BMLT is required for use with certain breather membranes to meet BS 5534 wind uplift requirements, ensuring a compliant and professional installation. Suitable for installation at temperatures as low as -10°C, with optimal results achieved at +5°C or above.
